CEB-US 2022 Year in Review

As 2023 approaches, we wanted to take a minute to thank you for your support and passion for the Epagneul Breton. As the national breed club, we are committed to protecting and promoting the breed and it is only through the strength and determination of our membership that we continue to succeed. The CEB-US celebrated its 25th anniversary in 2022. We are lucky enough to have a handful of founding members still active in the club and continue to welcome all the new members. Our membership continues on an upward trend and we look forward to building on the positive momentum throughout 2023.

Below is a quick highlight of a number of the milestones and initiatives achieved in 2022:

  • Welcomed in a new board and executive team to oversee club administration and operations.

  • Hosted the 25th Anniversary National Conclave in Armor, SD.

    • Field trial results.

    • Specialty show results.

  • Launched a new website optimized to promote the breed and provide content for members in the Member's Only section. A huge shout out to Kim Bartells for all her help.

  • Migrated all membership data to the Join It online platform. Members can now self-update contact info, renew memberships and switch payment methods.

  • Managed the topic of potential breed split by the American Brittany Club (see more below).

  • Our Supporting Membership tier continues to grow.

  • Hosted a virtual Take Your EB Hunting Day.

  • Announced the 2023 National Conclave will be held in December 2023 in Oklahoma. More details to come.

We have more member benefits and changes planned for 2023. Keep an eye out for email updates soon.
