Sydney Brewer

I originally got into Epagneul Bretons in 2022 with my first EB. Before then, I had never hunted with a dog or participated in any dog sports. I quickly realized that having a high drive intelligent dog was a lot of work but also incredibly rewarding. After a season of hunting, I realized I wanted another EB, so my husband and I got a second one in 2024. Having a hunting dog has taken me places that I would have never travelled otherwise, and I have met people that I would have never met otherwise. Training, hunting, and competing with my dogs pushes me to learn, stay disciplined, and to go out of my comfort zone.

I have participated in multiple UKC conformation and UKC and NAVHDA field events with my EBs. I am also currently working toward becoming a confirmateur for EBs. I think the EB is a fantastic dog due to their friendly and intelligent personalities and their ability to adapt to different dog sports and hunting environments. I am looking forward to getting more involved in the CEB-US and getting to help shape the future of this breed.
