Nanette Smith Harwell

Nanette lives in central Texas with her family who supports her love for the EB’s. What started with Pru as an addition to her hunting string of American Brittany’s Nanette quickly became whole heartedly an EB fanatic.

When the local sporting clays range closed, she took to competing in NSTRA which kept both Pru and her own shooting skills sharp during the off season. Nanette also served on the Gulf Coast Texas Region NSTRA board during this time. Although there are no UKC events in Texas, Nanette also likes to participate in AKC trials to promote the Epagneul breed and attends as many UKC events as possible across the U.S.

Since coming on board in 2023, Nanette has attended two out of the last three National Conclaves where she participated with her dogs and served on the Auction Committee. Nanette is passionate about preserving the purity of the breed by honoring the mission statement.
