The medium-sized Gunner Kennel is an excellent fit for my male Epagneul Breton, who stands 50 cm at the withers and weighs 36 lbs. It provides just the right amount of space—enough for him to stand comfortably and turn around without excess room, ensuring his safety during travel. An added bonus is that this size fits perfectly in the backseat of a Ford F150 extended cab (with the seats raised), making it a practical choice for on-the-go adventures.

According to Gunner's website, the dimensions of the medium kennel are:

Kennel Interior: 25" (L - Floor) x 18" (W - Floor) x 19.75" (H) / 19" (W) at the kennel's widest interior point
Kennel Exterior: 29.5" (L) x 20.5" (W) x 23.5" (H) / 25" (H) with carry handles
Kennel Weight: 38 lbs

While Gunner Kennels are definitely at the top of the market price-wise, the quality justifies the investment. After five years of daily use, my kennel still looks like new, which makes the cost much easier to swallow. It’s also incredibly easy to clean, a huge plus for dog owners.

The only downside is the weight and bulkiness, which can make the kennel cumbersome to move. However, that same bulk provides a major benefit—it helps keep the kennel securely in place and adds an extra layer of safety during transport. All in all, this kennel is worth every penny for its durability, safety, and functionality.
