This year, wrapped in another year of the pandemic, brought many challenges to the National Club (and the Regional Clubs, too). Last year, the board voted to provide monetary support to the regional host club. Even with that support, the pandemic presented challenges in supply shortages of birds and ammunition. However, with membership support and perseverance, the CEB-US presented a Specialty Show, three-days of Field Trials and numerous educational seminars in Minnesota.
In other news, CEB-US is about to launch a completely new and robust CEB-US website. It will have a repository for photos and a private Member’s Only feature. The CEB-US magazine will continue to launch twice a year. Improvements on communication and timing are on the club’s To-Do list. The individual committees have been streamlined to work more effectively. Now, committees will present their information, findings, and recommendations to the board as agenda items to be voted on. A private Member’s Only Facebook Group is being considered, too.
